“Timekeeping across Europe is getting worse. One in five rely on mobile phones to tell people they're late. The Spanish are the worst offenders”
Consumer Analysis Ltd.
We are always happy to hear from market researchers who are interested in joining our UK-wide survey teams. We generally look for people who are members of the Market Research Society, but we do also have openings for people who can show they have good relevant experience in market research and in conducting surveys.
Jobs may be available in our London office (Marylebone), in our Berkshire office (near Newbury), or on a work-from-home basis anywhere in the UK.
Our London staff includes research managers, project managers, and research assistants. Our work-from-home researchers can choose to carry out telephone interviewing, street/location interviewing, or hall test interviewing. They have to be willing to undertake our training. We pay above the industry norm and try to encourage a “family” approach to our team interviewers, many of whom have been working with us for years.
Our projects are interesting and varied, usually centred on the consumer, and we try to keep interviewers in touch with project news – what's coming up and project outcomes.
Our London office regularly has openings for young people keen to start a career in market research. They will learn about questionnaire design, survey idea creation, interviewing techniques, inputting and market research software. They will also be asked to help on marketing projects.
Internships last for three months, and can be 3-5 days a week. After three months an exceptional candidate may be offered a job.
We follow the guidance offered by the government on internships, and would encourage anyone who is interested to first read the information on their website: www.graduatetalentpool.direct.gov.uk
Applicants for internships should have at least three good A-levels and a degree to 2:2 grade or above. They should be able to demonstrate a proven interest in market research.
